G. Baynard Jr.
Bill has broad capital markets experience spanning the past 24 years. Prior to starting Novare Capital, he spent 5 years managing investors’ capital at The Baymen Group, LLC using a quantitative trading program.
Bill worked for 12 years with First Union Capital Markets where he served individual and institutional portfolio managers dealing in a variety of products and strategies.
Bill holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves on the board of several private companies and is an advisor to CSO USA, a sports outreach ministry. He is an active member of Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church, a father of two and enjoys coaching youth soccer teams.

Don
E. Olmstead, CFP®
Don’s extensive Capital Markets experience was garnered from 14 years with First Union Capital Markets. During that time, he served institutional and individual portfolio managers and advised them on a variety of products ranging from fixed income securities to privately placed equity securities.
Don earned a BA degree in English from University of the South, Sewanee and earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in March of 2004. Don has served on numerous local boards. He was previously the President of the Board of Habitat for Humanity Charlotte and is on the board of Community School of the Arts. Don serves as Trustee for the University of the South. Don is the father of two boys and a member of First Presbyterian Church where he serves on the Investment Committee.

J. Whitfield Wilks, CFP®
Whit joined Novare Capital Management as a Director in 2009. Whit brings more than
16 years of experience to Novare Capital clients. Prior to joining Novare Capital, he was a
Managing Director at Stanford Group in Charlotte, and was a Senior Vice President with
U.S. Trust Company.
Whit earned his J.D./M.B.A from Wake Forest University, and a B.S. in Economics from
Davidson College. He is a member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council. Whit holds
the accreditation of Certified Financial Planner™ and has series 7 and 63 licenses. Whit serves on the boards of the Charlotte Museum of History and Speedway Children’s Charities. He and
his wife, Lauri, have two sons.

Anne
J. McPhail, CFP®
Anne
is a proven financial advisor with more than 20 years
experience in corporate banking and wealth management.
Before joining Novare Capital, Anne spent five years
in Wachovia's Wealth Management practice as a wealth
strategist. She provided creative and integrated solutions
for accumulating, preserving and transferring wealth
to high net worth individuals, families and small
business owners. She was awarded the Certified Financial
Planner designation in 2003. Anne holds a BA in Economics
from Vanderbilt University. Anne is involved in numerous
civic activities including the Mint Museums of Art
and Charlotte Country Day School. She is currently
on the board of Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center.
Anne
is married with two children and is a member of Myers
Park Presbyterian Church.

Todd Patton, ChFC
Todd has over 19 years of investment industry background and has extensive knowledge in the qualified plan, 401k and the individual high net worth marketplace. He has worked in Charlotte with Diversified Investment Advisors, Flexible Benefit Administrators, Fisher Investments Private Client Group & Eastover Capital Management. A native of Durham, Todd holds a B.S.B.A. from East Carolina University and earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College in 2003.
Todd and his wife Sharon have three children. They are members of Church at Charlotte and serve as youth Sunday school teachers. Todd also enjoys coaching youth sports and playing tennis.

Linda
M. Walden, Vice President
Linda
joined Novare Capital Management in January 2004.
She is responsible for client service, account documentation,
client transition and client maintenance. Additional
responsibilities include marketing and advertising.
She
graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Business
Administration. Prior to joining Novare Capital she
was in the retail industry. She is very active in
the community.

Laura Brosseau, Office Administrator
Laura joined Novare Capital Management in January 2007.
She maintains our client management system and provides client support. Additionally,
she is responsible for client documentation and transition as well as office administration.
Prior to joining Novare Capital,
Laura worked as a Systems Specialist with an accounting software firm in New England,
and as a Client Services Representative with Fidelity Investments in New Hampshire.
Laura recently relocated to the Charlotte area from New Orleans where she worked for
several years with a financial advisory firm assisting high net worth clientele.
She is the mother of one child and an active supporter of The American Red Cross
and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
